Hello! We are Michael and Debra Colletti, and we live in Clifton Park, New York. We are the proud parents of two beautiful boys, Anthony and Nicholas; our faithful Labrador companion, William and our little Pug, Mimi; and six feline friends, Tabatha, Oliver, Cissy, Liger, CC and Sebastian.. Our Business~ We are a pet sitting service that caters to dogs and cats. We visit your home and care for your pets in the safety and comforts of their own environment. We do not board animals nor do we take in any strays. If these services are needed, we provide referrals to excellent organizations that will fill these needs. At the inception of our business in 1990, we shared our home with six wonderful feline friends! When we would venture on our yearly vacation to Florida to visit Debra's family, we could not take our cats with us, and we felt that we were imposing on our friends and neighbors by asking them to care for our cats while we were away. Since there were no pet sitting services in our area at that time, we knew we were not alone in the predicament of finding good quality care for our pets during our absence from home. As a result, Whiskers Watchers was born! We felt a strong desire to fill a much needed service in our community, and being true animal lovers, we knew that we could love and care for someone else's pets as well as they do! Since the start of our business, we have been featured in the Times Union newspaper, The Clifton Commentator, and The Capital District Business Review. Location Served~ Currently, we are serving Clifton Park, and Halfmoon areas. Fees~ $15.00 to $20.00 per visit - discounts offered We charge an extra fee of $15.00 on holidays. Insurance and References~ We are members of and are insured through Petsitters Association. References from many of our current customers and past customers are available upon your request. Services for Dogs and Cats (and People too!)~ * Dog walks are approximately twenty minutes to one-half hour each visit. * Fresh food, water and litter scooped each visit. * We clean up any "accidents" and leave your home the way you left it. * If requested, we will bring your mail and newspaper into the house, as well as water your plants and alternate your lights during your absence. * We work morning, noon and night and will arrive at your specified time (within a one hour time frame). * We ask that you book us one week prior to your departure (except for major holidays), however, in the case of an emergency, you can count on us being there that day! * We do not hire anyone else to do our job, thereby assuring you the peace of mind that your pets and home will be cared for by us, Michael or Debra.
